Build something people needed.
Bindr is where an idea that had lingered for years became a real community. As co-founder and CTO, I work on the technology behind a dating platform built around people rather than rigid labels. It grew faster than anything I had built before and changed the scale of the questions I was asking.

Then make discovery repeatable.
ColdStart brings the lessons together. As co-founder and CEO, I’m working on a problem I kept seeing across companies: a good product still needs a way to reach the right people. The ambition is to make search and AI discovery part of a repeatable distribution system.

Four of my companies are operating today: Chop Dawg, Original Pixel, Bindr and ColdStart. The other three went to market, found thousands of users, and taught me the lessons the wins could not.
Original Pixel · operating
Founding and leading Original Pixel meant moving from building products to owning the whole business: delivery, clients, decisions and the consequences. I was building for other people while learning how to build for myself. It is still running.
Sweet Ride · went to market, ran out of funding
Sweet Ride worked. We went to market, it was successful, and we built a whole driver ecosystem around it. It laid the groundwork for everything I did next, and it still ran out of funding. Both of those things are true.
ModLinQ · break-even, still live
One app for the car community. Thousands of users on its own, break-even, and it runs today. The lesson: nobody actually needed the problem solved. It was an add-on to Facebook Groups and Events, and car people care about their own cars more than anyone else’s. Being successful does not mean people keep coming back.
Subtle · quit too early
Storage, email and in-house apps connected in one place for our customers at Chop Dawg, before Dropbox or Google Drive existed. Thousands of users. We quit because it was not perfect. It was ahead of its time, and the biggest mistake was doubting ourselves over bugs.
Chop Dawg · operating
Earlier, as CTO at Chop Dawg, I built for other founders and saw both successes and failures up close. That experience is the beginning of the story, and the company is still running.
